Teach you the maintenance of fabric sofa
Fabric sofas are moderately priced and rich in color. For some high-end fabric sofas, sophisticated fabrics and creative designs often make people's eyes shine, which is very suitable for young people's pursuit of fashionable home furnishing. However, fabric sofas are relatively more prone to stains and have a shorter lifespan. Therefore, it is usually necessary to maintain it diligently in order to keep it clean and beautiful, and it can greatly extend the service period. So how should the fabric sofa be maintained?
1. Avoid direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can easily cause the sofa to fade. At the same time, the fabric sofa should be kept away from heat sources.
2. It can be patted with a dry towel and vacuumed at least once a week, especially to remove the dust between the fabrics. The armrests and seat cushions of the sofa are easy to get dirty, so you should put a good-looking sofa towel or a large towel on it. The armrests, backrests and gaps of the sofa must also be taken into account. When using a vacuum cleaner, do not use a suction brush to prevent the weaving thread on the textile cloth from being damaged and make the cloth fluffy. It is also necessary to avoid sucking with extra strong suction, which may cause the weaving thread to be torn off. Consider using a small vacuum cleaner to clean.
3. The wear resistance of the fabric sofa is not as good as that of the leather sofa. It is best to avoid sitting in the same position. If the mat can be turned over, it should be turned over once a week to distribute the wear evenly. You can also take the mat outside and beat it frequently to loosen the sponge structure and remove surface dust. If the loose thread is found, do not cut it by hand, but use scissors to cut it neatly.
4. If there are stains, you can wipe it off with a clean rag dampened with water. In order not to leave marks, it is best to wipe it from the periphery of the stain. Velvet furniture should not get wet, dry cleaning should be used. If stains penetrate, they should be cleaned in time. Special fabric cleaners can be used. First use a clean white cloth dampened with a small amount of detergent and wipe the soiled area repeatedly until the stain is removed. To avoid leaving marks, it is best to work from the outside of the stain. Do not scrub with a lot of water, so as to avoid water infiltrating the inner layer of the sofa, causing the inner frame of the sofa to be damp, deformed, and the sofa to shrink, which will affect the overall appearance of the sofa. There is a large area of stains: you should ask a professional fabric sofa cleaning team for door-to-door service. The high-end fabric sofa should be cleaned every ten months or so under normal circumstances to keep the fabric sofa clean.
5. The velvet furniture should not be wet with water, and dry cleaning agent should be used. As for the waterproof and antifouling cloth, if the juice is poured on it, it is difficult to penetrate. Just wipe it with water and put it in a ventilated place to dry naturally to avoid mold.
6. If the thread is found to be loose, do not break it by hand, and use scissors to cut it neatly to avoid the thread coming off.
If the fabric sofa lacks maintenance, it will reduce its lifespan due to various stains or damage.
